For a six week period* of time I was in the smart kids class as a seventh grader at my Jr. HS in Sumter SC. Our class, along with some other smart classes in the area were taken on a field trip to Chapel Hill NC where we visited Morehead Planetarium. It was very interesting, as I recall, with some professors talking about the birth and death of stars, the Milky Way, etc. But as interesting as it was the real out of this world experience came on the bus ride back home when I got to "make out" with a very cute seventh grade girl. She's still in Sumter and has a platoon of kids and grandkids to keep her busy.

*My neuron, being way undersized, fell out of that class after six weeks. LOL
