$CYTR,,No Reverse Split means they can't offer many more shares because they are maxed out. CYTR has to find other means for funding and it's only natural they sign some deals. The company needs a partnership quickly or they won't have the funding necessary to keep testing.
Now the question remains, what about the Phase 2b results? This was due out by end of June then pushed back to mid-July and most were hopeful for the news at yesterday's shareholder meeting. Now, from what I read, the news will be out end of July. I am wondering if the CEO and Board elected to withhold the Trial data until after the shareholder meeting so they could do an R/S, get the stock to $5 - $6 level AND THEN come out with trial data.
Even not so good data would keep them above $1 for awhile as they scramble to find a partnership or buyer.
