I still think Ultraflix would make more money offering Day 1 movies and live concerts. These are things I would pay for if the price was reasonable. I would never spend money to rent an already released movie online. Especially at the prices most 4K movies are. I am obviously not their target customer.
If I had the option to watch a day 1 movie at home instead of the movie theater for the same price I'd do that. I think a ton of Americans would.
Piracy is the only problem. They'd have to come up with a technology that won't allow cameras to film the screen.
I'm not sure if most of you have been to concerts lately, but top acts are $300 a ticket. I'm sure the majority of the population can't afford that. They can afford $20-$50 for a live show. NTEK should be trying to make deals with LiveNation. That's where the money is.
Think of the amount of people who would like to watch Hamilton live but won't ever be able to. I think offering Broadway shows could be big. Yet again piracy would be a concern. I guess it'd have to be during the final show or something.
We need to have more options than just TV/MOVIES that others offer.
That's the only way this grows to something HUGE. Unless the quality is just that much better.
