Publicly traded corporations have a duty to releas

Publicly traded corporations have a duty to release material data. That is why AMBS sent out a press release that they were NOT going to release their data on Dec. 22, as previously scheduled, but were withholding it for a presentation at a conference, because "we believe it is in the best interests of the shareholders." Also known as CYA. Then they immediately scheduled a new appearance the DAY AFTER THE DATA RELEASE at an investors' conference. A clear signal to their investors.
If CTIX were withholding material data, there could be a shareholder lawsuit down the road. I think that whatever data they have is not ready for prime time -- releasing preliminary results would be criticized as "fluff" and "pumping" by the bashers, and would not help the company's case in the long run.
Why would the company's biggest shareholder do anything contrary to the interests of the shareholders? I have faith in his decisions, based as they are on MUCH MORE INFORMATION than any of us has.
