People think good news will jack up the price. Occasionally it does..
Driving the price down on good news shakes investors sentiment, causing many to sell, allowing others to buy cheap as well as short it on the way down.
Unfortunately, unless it is earth shattering news, the share price can go either way, depending on which angle the MM/Hedge funds can make the most money.
IMO they're driving it down now to pick up cheap shares for an upward run later.
