Post# of 334
Those who read my posts in my Board, know I say this like a broken record, and although I say it over and over, I say it because its true. This isnt pointed directly at you, Ill point it towards myself, that it is extremely important "NOT to invest more than i can afford to lose".
When an investor is about to press the 'Buy Button', I think to myself, "Im perfectly fine if I lose all of this money". If I cant say that.. I don't press the Buy Button. This has stopped me many times from buying other stocks.
Something got you to buy in at .33; myself as well. it may or may not be for different reasons, but thats not important. Instead, its important to figure out if those reasons are still relevant, and i think this is where many investors get stuck.
They invest an initial amount because of a specific belief. But over time, the company releases a bad PR, or the company does something stupid and the price falls. At this point, the investor may want to figure out if that initial belief still holds true. If it does, and they believe the stock will recover; dont sell. But if they have to lie to themselves, trying to convince themselves that the stock will recover 'someday'.. selling may be a good option.
im blabbering now. My point is simple, but its difficult to explain. For situations like this, I use BLTA as an example. A company trying to get ONE plane off the ground, for over TWENTY FIVE years, and generation after generation of investors kept convincing themselves 'This is the year'. I fell for it years ago. Currently, theyre 'restructuring' with 'new management'... again.
Will BLTA succeed? I hope they do for investors sake, but when we look closer, im really hoping for the CURRENT investors sake, because 25 years of previous investors lost EVERYTHING; they just didnt know when to sell.
So to conclude this ridiculously long post, as long as we do not invest more than we can afford to lose there is nothing to worry about. if an investor happens to invest more than he/she can afford to lose, selling is probably only good if they sell NOT out of fear; but rather because their DD tells them 'its time', because once we click that 'Sell Button', the money is gone forever.
About a reverse split, the June 6 8-K does say this:
Quote:
The Series B Preferred Stock has no dividend, liquidation or other rights which are preferential to our common stock and may be converted into shares of our common stock at a price equal to $0.1530 per share upon the earlier of the date of closing to the extent that the holder thereof reallocates shares of our common stock reserved for issuance under its certain senior secured convertible notes (the “Notes”) to conversion of the Series B Preferred Stock and otherwise three business days after receipt of shareholder approval of a reverse split of our Common Stock for which we intend to seek shareholder approval immediately upon closing of the purchase contemplated hereby.

I dont know if this means they intend right now, or if this is just fancy talk for 'if they ever decide to do a RS'.
