'A Horrible Little Man-Child':
NYC Mayor Blasted for Going to G-20 Protest

Assassination of NYPD Officer

New York City's ultra-liberal mayor Bill de Blasio is facing criticism for heading to Hamburg, Germany, where he was expected to appear at a G-20 Summit protest.
According to the New York Post, the trip was kept under wraps until just before de Blasio departed on Thursday.

"Unbelievable. Instead of jet-setting around the world, he should be here doing his job. A police officer was murdered, street homelessness has skyrocketed and people continue to get delayed on the trains," said state assemblywoman Nicole Malliotakis, a Republican who is running for mayor.

Just days after the assassination of an NYPD officer in the Bronx, de Blasio's trip forced him to miss a swearing-in ceremony for new officers.

Greg Gutfeld, meanwhile, called de Blasio simply "the worst" on "The Five" last night, referring to him as a "horrible little man-child."

On "Fox & Friends," former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino said police officers he knows in the Big Apple cannot stand de Blasio.

On FBN this morning, author Kristin Tate called the mayor's decision "indefensible" and "insulting on so many levels."

Tate expressed disbelief that de Blasio would go ahead with the trip - during which he is also expected to visit his son in Berlin - right after the female officer's murder.
