Estrella TV’s National News Anchor Pedro Ferriz

BURBANK, Calif., July 07, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- LBI Media, the fastest growing, minority owned Spanish-language broadcasting company in the U.S. announced today that its Estrella TV network national news anchor Pedro Ferriz Hijar has been promoted to vice president of national news effective immediately.

Ferriz, a respected news veteran who took over Estrella TV’s Cierre de Edición newscast in February 2016, has been promoted to lead and manage the network’s national news team.  In this new role, Ferriz Hijar will be responsible for the strategic planning and management of the network’s news division, including managing content and production for all news-related programming, which includes two national newscasts. He will continue his role as the network’s national anchorman for Cierre de Edición, as he concurrently takes over the role of vice president of national news for Estrella TV.
