Second quarter and first semester 2017 statement

Amsterdam, July 7, 2017 - Gemalto N.V. (Euronext NL0000400653 GTO, "Gemalto") hereby reports on the resources available on the liquidity account as at June 30, 2017 and the transactions carried out under the Gemalto liquidity contract independently managed by Exane BNP Paribas.
As at June 30, 2017, the following resources were available on the liquidity account:
- 192,064 Gemalto shares
- € 10,070,577
As at December 31, 2016, the following resources were available on the liquidity account:
- 175,064 Gemalto shares
- € 10,534,568
During the second quarter of 2017, i.e. from April 1, 2017 to June 30, 2017 (included), the following transactions were carried out by Exane BNP Paribas under the liquidity contract:
- 618,622 Gemalto shares were purchased during 58 trading days for an average daily amount of € 571,324
- 593,411 Gemalto shares were sold during 55 trading days for an average daily amount of € 578,756
