Veidekke has submitted the best bid for a major transport contract

Veidekke Entreprenør has submitted the best bid for the construction of the new E6 Arnkvern-Moelv road section. Veidekke's bid was NOK 2.043 billion, which is NOK 106 million less than the client's maximum price. In addition to submitting the lowest bid, Veidekke Entreprenør has scored best on the client's quality criteria.

The road section is 24 kilometres in length. The Arnkvern - Brumunddal section will be completed in the summer of 2020, while the Brumunddal - Moelv section is scheduled for completion in the summer of 2021. In the specification phase Veidekke Entreprenør will present its plan for the contract work and target achievement. Signing the contract is planned for October 3, 2017.

Veidekke has brought Sweco and Aventi on board as consultants.
