EDMONTON, Alberta, July 06, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- With fewer industrial real estate opportunities available within Edmonton’s Anthony Henday ring road, a growing number of interested businesses are vying for what remains. With its access to the Anthony Henday, proximity to the CN Intermodal yard, pre-established hook-ups to water and power, and access to the city’s developing fiber optic network, it’s an ideal location for distribution centres like Pizza 73’s.
Philip Goudreau, Pizza 73’s Senior Vice President of Operations and Development, reiterated this point.
“For us, it’s the combination of access and convenience,” said Goudreau. “Being inside the Henday is great for our employees while having access to Edmonton’s full utility network is great for the business. But also, from a logistics perspective, our trucks can get in and out of the city in no time, which simplifies our entire operation.”
An additional 1.5-acre sale at North 170 – Henday Business Park is pending as the sale of industrial land inside the Anthony Henday continues to pick up momentum.
