Wednesday's Picks: I have looked at many stocks while resting between mopping my floors for the past two days. Below shows the stocks I plan to take positions this week.
These stocks are only my opinion.
$ARRY looks good=>$8.70 at close,,, Slow Stochastics is at upper 70's,,,MacD has just turned up,,,and RSI looks good at 58. At 1st I was concerned about volume but remembered that Monday closed at 1:30 and volume was down about 1/3 so actually in line. I plan to see what happens at the bell.
$OPAX => $1.17 @ close + $.03 in AH,,,brought up in last post that they just merged with $ACER (good read),,,Slow Stochastics and MacD are headed in a downward direction but not for long,,,RSI looks great @ 54. This is a risky purchase (they all are) but I think people don't really know what the merger means and will buy in hopes not to lose out if it turns great.
$AVEO => $2.17 @close + $.05 in AH.,,, I bought in on Monday and may pick up more as I believe this has legs. Slow Stochastics is high @ 78 (makes me want to wait and watch during the morning,,,MacD is turned upward now,,, RSI is sitting good @ 62,,,VOLUME @ 9.03M which is 3X Average (and the market shut down at 1:30),,,As I said, I will watch this in the morning to see how volume and price are acting,,,my finger will be waiting to press Confirm Order.
$OCUL => $9.80 @close + $.05 in AH,,, I have played this company many times over the years and love it. I am very surprised the price is so low. They have increased revenue 7 straight quarters. I may put this into a long term account as opposed to my short term play account. But for a swing play,,,Volume looks really good,, Slow Stochastics are up too high @ 72 and climbing,,,MacD is high, crossing over the signal and coming down,,,RSI is high @ around 70 and coming down.,,,I realize the technicals look like crap,,but I believe you should keep your eyes and grab at the dips. A gap @ $11.00 needs to be filled.
$SYN => $.55 @ close + $.03 in AH,,,I do own this as well but will grab more (if just to average down),,,Volume exceeded the daily average on Monday,,, Slow Stochastics is @ 57 and rising,,,MacD has just crossed going positive,,,RSI is great at 46.34. Keep your eyes on this one tomorrow.
All of the above is only my opinion. This is all just what I read into the charts and am in no way presenting any of this as wanting you to buy, only to look into and do your own DD. I normally don't hold onto stocks and will take my profit when presented. I sometimes will watch a stock price soar after I sell but I am happy to walk away in the green and find my next winner.
