MMTE - What is the definition of due diligence? From the Meriam-Webster dictionary:
1. The care that a reasonable person exercises to avoid harm to other persons or their property.
2. Research and analysis of a company or organization done in preparation for a business transaction (as a
corporate merger or purchase of securities).
Note, nothing is said about preventing others from stating facts that might be contrary to the view held by those in control of a message board or forum. Nothing says that due diligence should prevent one from posting warnings to others when red flags are found. Certainly, if a person or group of people constantly posts that they know the inside information that will make everyone invested in MMTE rich, then when someone outside that group posts messages directly from the CEO that contradicts what the "in person" or "in group" is saying, that, by definition, is true due diligence.
Most of what was posted on MMTE was speculation; pure and simple. I must say that there is nothing wrong with speculation. In fact, speculation is good. However, speculation is just that and should never ever be presented as fact or as something that is certain or guaranteed. The trouble with those in charge of the Icrap board is that they let speculation and deception rule the board, and then they censored those who presented facts that did not agree with their point of view. In my opinion, what went on there was criminal. While William might be a scam artist, the people who presented what they claim they were told by Lieberman were not innocent. These people may have been duped, and they may not have been the brightest people in the world, and maybe they didn't know how to ask good questions. However, some of these very same people boasted of being great business experts who often advised others to buy, buy, buy. Even today, these same people who have obviously proven they were stupid and foolish, still suggest that they know MMTE will prove to be a good investment --- someday.
Good luck to anyone who feels these people are worth listening too. God knows, you will need it.
