All these trials were announced long before the heart study began.
From November 2016..."Endonovo plans to use the proceeds from the financing to fund the development of a portfolio of treatments for vascular diseases, including critical limb ischemia and ischemic ulcers, as well as treatments targeting vascular ischemia and reperfusion injuries in vital organs, including the liver, heart, kidneys, and central nervous system using the Company's non-invasive Immunotronics™ platform. The Company is preparing to conduct the first of several pre-clinical trials in the first quarter of 2017."
Remember the new patent was applied for during the course of the heart trial. What that says to me is that a more effective signal was discovered in the course of the trial. The CEO referred to it as "vastly superior to the original signal". They also stated in the March PR that this signal would be used for all the other trials. With a new patent applied for and intent to use the signal in all the coming trials I think it is safe to assume they were getting positive results.
As far as the delay with the device. It is my understanding that they were using the original prototype from Rudd and Dennis's time at NASA. I think it would have been difficult to get fast track approval using that device. Sounds to me that might be what they are intending. It would be necessary to have their own device, not a 20 year old prototype to achieve this.
"Because our goal remains to evaluate our electroceuticals in a clinical setting intent on eventually bringing them to market, these adjustments were necessitated to ensure not only the most favorable data from our pre-clinical studies, but also enable us to move toward clinical trials in a faster, more efficient manner."
I think they are doing everything right here. It just takes time. I doubt they would have began a new ischemia trial before taking care of the issues with the device first. That one began May 4th. We could see results as early as a couple of weeks, IMO, and once results start coming in we are off and running.
