Why no QD sales yet?

If the business model were QD sales, I believe we would have revenue. Our aim is higher than that.

The business model is to form joint ventures with QMC contributing everything quantum dots and the JV partner contributing everything else to develop a product. For example, QMA is a JV with 50/50 profit splitting and potential to spin-off onto the Hong Kong exchange. JVs take longer to happen than product sales for many reasons. Foremost is that a trust relationship must develop first. Trust must be earned. Trust takes time. JVs involve the top levels of each company and buy-in and sign-off from all affected departments, including legal. Squires and Ando-san have already proven they have the product, the business know how and ability to build trust to get JVs to happen. JVs are possible because Squires had the foresight years ago to lock down the technology and automated processes first so that QMC is in an enviable position with production capability and protected technology. Best of all, JVs can be replicated in different vertical industries, with comparatively little out of pocket expense for QMC. QMC can be in an large number of JVs if the partner does most of the work. Its like owning a commercial office building, collecting rent and also being a partner of your tenants’ businesses. IMO, its in the QMC shareholders best interests.
