‘Enough Is Enough’: U.N. Ambassador Haley Withdraws America’s $500,000,000

Posted by Georgette Walrath | Jun 30, 2017 | American Strength

Liberals around the world should know by now that President Trump isn’t bluffing when he threatens action. When the administration reported that it was going to hold the U.N. accountable for their duplicity and reprehensible anti-Israel agenda, no one believed it.

However, United States Ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley is doing exactly that. She tweeted yesterday, “Just 5 months into our time here, we’ve cut over half a billion [dollars] from the UN peacekeeping budget and we’re only getting started.”

Trump called for a serious review of the peacekeeping policies of the international body while campaigning for office. He repeatedly stated that other countries were not paying their fair share in the assembly and in NATO. During his first month, the president issued an executive order calling for “at least a 40 percent overall decrease” in U.S. funding for U.N. organizations that violate specific conditions.

One of the stipulations concerned whether a U.N. body recognized full membership of the PLO and supported Palestinian aggression against Israel. Trump promised to cut funds to any groups guilty of supporting terrorism-sponsoring states, countries accused of violating sanctions, any country doing business with sanctioned countries, and any programs that fund abortions.

The order came in response to former President Obama’s slack attitude toward countries that support global murderers, international abortion, and policies that were staunchly anti-Israel. He gladly goose-stepped right along with every resolution the U.N. created

However, Ambassador Haley has been busy in New York. She blasted the U.N. for its one-sided treatment of the Jewish homeland, a position in which many Trump supporters agree.

Haley said last month, “When the council passes more than 70 resolutions against Israel, a country with a strong human rights record, and just seven resolutions against Iran, a country with an abysmal human rights record, you know something is seriously wrong.”

Not only does the U.N. ignore genocide, it blames Western democracies for global problems and repeatedly gives sanction to any country that isn’t Christian. The biased assembly has been excusing Muslim countries for human right’s atrocities for years, and has placed some of the worst offenders in high-level council positions.

For those, and many other abuses, Trump is cutting off the free supply of money given to the U.N. Over the past two decades, the assembly’s credibility as a morally upright governing body has rapidly deteriorated.

Just this year there have been a number of preposterous acts. In April, the U.N. proclaimed that women need to be protected around the world. The solution? It assigned Saudi Arabia to the Gender Equality council. That country is still in the dark ages concerning women’s rights.

While addressing the assembly earlier this month, Haley threatened to withdraw from the Human Rights Council because of their continued abuses against Israel, while ignoring other parts of the world. A couple weeks ago, the Convention on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination appointed Palestine as vice-chair on the discussion. Palestine calls for the death of all Jews, so their election to the convention is, at least confusing.

The U.N. has basically become an all Muslim ruling body for the purpose of forwarding the global liberal agenda. Its antiquated perversity has gone on long enough. As Haley has said, taking away nearly half billion dollars is a good start.

Years of self-righteous stubbornness and hypocritical activity, such as giving the Human Rights Award to international abortion advocates, have made the U.N a stench to American nostrils.

A 40 percent reduction in the amount of American dollars going to terror countries would put a big dent in the funds available for U.N. Troops. At this point, the U.S. provides nearly 30 percent of the U.N. budget for peacekeeping.

Every year, the United States delivers $8 billion to the international body.

For paying that amount, American has funded Cholera outbreaks in Haiti, fraud throughout the assembly, and paid for unprovoked attacks on citizens in countries where troops are posted.

Trump’s financing withdrawal will hopefully help demolish the spurious, irrelevant body for good. U.S. citizens who voted for the president are rejoicing over former Governor of South Carolina Nikki Haley’s tough stand in the assembly. By steadily pulling back the funds, the administration has paved the way for even greater withdraw from the U.N.
