So I posed the question to David this morning regarding your link and competitors catching up to UF streaming technology and DF says the problem with Codecs is that you have to have the decode side supported on the devices, and getting something other than HEVC into TVs can’t happen without serious support which Tveon and others don’t have at this time.
From past discussions with him we do truly have a unique algorithm process that no others can match (at this time) for visual performance and bit rate based on today's standards.
Tie this to Zattnt's mention of Swig Cinema/UltraFlix patented technology and eventual e-digital distribution for both global and home theater streaming puts us truly as the pioneer of this new and developing era !
Lastly I can confirm, August will be a big month for announcements and the start of marketing towards the beginning of September.
Has this ever felt more like Déjà vu ? A feeling of familiarity? The feeling of having "already lived through" something) a feeling of recollection? For most of us yes BUT so much has had to take place to get to the accomplishments made so far. Before David's leave of absence this was his vision to see this through and now it encompasses Ivan's expertise and vision too! IMO there has never been a more aligned synergy then now for NTEK's move into the big time and yes I MEAN BIG TIME just look at the last PR and its global repercussions!. I am one to be thankful for finding this gem and the people of NTEK who are in it to win it!
