Savo-Solar is selected as the preferred bidder in a tender for a turnkey delivery in France

Savo-Solar is selected as the preferred bidder in a tender for the delivery of a solar thermal plant to the company newHeat SAS, in France. Savo-Solar is now entering into final negotiations in order to reach a detailed agreement with newHeat. The mutual target of newHeat and Savo-Solar is to finalise the contract in September and do the delivery and installation of the system before spring 2018.

The tender value is approximately EUR 1.4-1.7 million depending on the final size of the field. The turnkey delivery covers the collector field installed on a tracking system, the piping, the solar heat transfer unit, the control system and the operation & maintenance contract. The solar thermal plant will be the largest one in France, with a collector area of around 4,000m². This will also be the first flat plate collector field in the world installed onto a tracking system. The customer newHeat will use this solar thermal plant to supply and sell heat to an industrial site in France.  

The market for large solar thermal plants in France is growing fast. This is the second project in France within a short period of time, for which Savo-Solar has been chosen to negotiate the delivery contract,  displaying the competitive edge of Savo-Solar's solutions.
