After following this company and the science for some 13 Years now, I’m either blinded by all of my research or seeing what is called a Short Bluff Going on here. A Cheap Plastic that is spin coated onto silicon (just like a boardwalk spin painting), then it is poled (the +’s and –‘s are lined up), once cooled it is very stable (that is super important), a couple of electrodes are imbedded (I think they are using gold but it may be silver), a single mode laser (important) is turned on and the beam of light travels down the waveguide, as the electrons used in today’s computer reach the electrodes the beam of light is changed to 1’s and 0’s. The material is made in Newark DE and the devices are made in Longmont CO. (Smart nary the 2 shall meet), The material (took years), the process of applying (many variables took years) and the creation of the devices (took several years) are protected through both Patents and Trade Secrets (Smart the answers to all 3 are in different locations and people’s heads). The secrets to the goo, the spin coating process and the devices are all proprietary, unlike the materials that everyone else is working with Lightwaves Materials are ONLY available to those willing to play ball with Lightwave (This is Hugh).
They put the goo in someone else’s device and it operated using a fraction of the Electric. Lightwave has in fact already created 3 devices and yes they succeeded at each, remember though that devices are only

That big, next up will be the 25 Gig Mod after it is ready (very, very soon, $300mm market) they will send it out for review to the fortune 500's because they will need help working on the many many devices (Billions of Dollars) that will use this at a microscopic level, anyone that does not think that one of the Big Guys is not going to play ball, folks they cannot afford to let this get away. The industry spent 100’s of millions trying to make everything out there work, guess what Lebby studied it for years, guess what the material out there does not work, because it can not scale, Lightwaves material WILL SCALE, IS CHEAP, IS FAST and COMPATIBLE with Silicon and Inp for Hybrid Devices, IMO this is why Lebby joins Lightwave Logic, Get it?
I don’t know how else to break this down, Electrons cannot get closer because they bump into each other and that causes heat and interference. Photons can literally pass through each other without interference. Light is the fastest thing in the universe. The industry tried the easy route using Multi-Mode wavelengths even though they knew it was not practical. Single mode is Wavelength that must be used. Lightwave has focused on that Wavelength as far back as I can remember.
