LOS ANGELES, June 27, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Today Air Lease Corporation (NYSE: AL ) announced the placement and recent delivery of one Boeing 737-800 aircraft (MSN 40875) on long-term lease to Travel Service in Prague, Czech Republic.

Travel Service will be receiving two new Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft on lease from ALC beginning in early spring 2018, both from ALC’s order book with Boeing. “We have an excellent relationship with Travel Service, the Czech Republic’s largest airline, and are pleased with the opportunity to expand and modernize their jet fleet with these 737-800 and 737 MAX aircraft, providing efficiency and passenger comfort that will further Travel Service’s competitive edge in the European markets they serve,” said Alex Khatibi, Executive Vice President of Air Lease Corporation.
