I'm thinking Duo will be the biggest of the 7 infringers. Possibly 20-30 Million. Trustwave may only be higher due to their dealings (as per the initial court filing) with SFOR prior to stealing their IP. I believe Trustwave will be the only infringer to get snagged with treble damages. The others should be able to negotiate out of treble damages.
The only reason I believe a higher settlement number (at least compared to MSFT)... is due to R&G being so aggressive.
My impression, as is of many here, is that R&G aren't just looking to cash in on settlement money. They are focused on royalties. This will make the company much more attractive for a Buyout. So if R&G can get the market cap way up, they will possibly benefit.
Now how many here believe in this possibility? I believe that R&G have in their retainer agreement with SFOR the exlclusive right to broker the sale of SFOR. And in exchange are working on contingency and may even be finding SFOR financial help to assist through this long judicial process. Too far fetched?
