My questions to the above:
1. How long would it take to do these trials as some are saying IPIX should take them thru Phase III.
2. What happens to the indications for B that have been proven successful while the further indication trials are being run? Do they sit on the shelf for 2 to 4 yrs til we know the entire value of B and sell it to a BP? What happens to the patients requiring these drugs now for OM, UP/UPS, etc?
3. Does IPIX pick a BP as their platform partner prior to running these further indications and has the deal structured so they get more as each indication reaches a certain stage of trials and then when commercialized and IPIX gets a royalty figure for each indication? That way they could put drugs for successful indications available for patients as soon as they get OK from govt to do so.
4. I assume young investors would want to go the long route and make a huge fortune down the line. Older investors may be more inclined to see more money upfront and in the short term.
Would like to hear other ideas regarding the above scenario as IMO it is getting obvious that B is going to be a gigantic platform with quite a number of uses.
Also, if a BP was smart they would look at the pipeline of drugs IPIX has waiting in the wings and try and become the favored IPIX partner for all drugs. It would be a win-win for both if they treated IPIX fair and IPIX kept them filled with tremendous new products. Win-win, now that's a thought that doesn't seem to get much attention nowadays.
