Tomorrow I'll be paddling around in a swamp not too far from Columbia SC and the Dainty Darling Dove is coming along for the ride. The swamp comes complete with quite a few alligators some of which must be closing in on 12 feet or more. Many moons back, on her first swamp excursion with me, the Dove kinda shocked me when we came within a few feet of a large gator and it didn't scare her not even the least little bit. We have all kinds of Southern Belles around here that would have crapped all in their bloomers had they come within a 100 feet of a huge gator.
