I agree with your assessment here, I'm just not sure enough of near term timing to try and pin it on the calendar.
I find it easier with supper sub pennies in the "trips" (.000's) or even .00's because if there suddenly appears a catalyst, usually a juicy PR, and especially when there are more than one like low float or share buy backs occurring simultaneously, then there's usually a great chance of doubling your money or even many times that if your timing is right.
That's what they do on SHEEPWOLF's board, and the vast array of radar, or in other words scanning members using E*TRADE Pro or similar, stacks the deck in your favor once you get used to the game.
Very little bashing over there too. It's not about one company and therefore it doesn't draw the slander like a board dedicated to investment in a company like Rocky Mountain High. This kind of board draws parasites that want to maximize their holdings or the percentage od swing gains using misinformation timed with normal news gap selling to try and drive the price as low as possible.
They'll tell you otherwise, but don't believe them. They aren't that hard to spot. They're the ones that get proven wrong over and over as far as the progress made by the company, but they just move on to their next BS claims. Near term expect choppy waters, but there's smooth sailing ahead.
