By your theory, that would mean that about 65k shares were real trades by individuals, rather than phony price-controlling fake "trades" by market manipulators.
I know of about half that many shares bought today by real shareholders and of course I sure don't know about all the real buying. But I wouldn't be surprised if 65k more shares found their way into strong hands today.
It's great when more shares go into strong hands. It will make it much, much harder for any short shares to get covered when the stock moves up. That will make the stock price go up much faster. As AlanC says, legal shorts are good for a stock.
