Experience comes with time; thats all you need. Incredibly, my first million was made with remnants of my very first investment years and years ago; flipped, sold at a loss, profits made, sold at a gain, flipped again, lost big time, reinvested over and over, learned as i went, took profits, reinvested in other stocks.. over and over and over. $100 turned into $10,000 turned into .50 cents, turned into $100,000... repeat repeat repeat. At one time, my brokerage account was literally down to my last $20 when i was washing dishes at a crappy family restaurant, wearing 8 year old sneakers because i couldnt afford new ones. i remember very well having a stressful moment when someone brought in a crap load of dirty dishes and i said, "THIS IS WHAT IM DOING WITH MY LIFE!??" it was a life changing moment for me. This was long before finding these boards. Thats when reality struck and i realized i had to change what i was doing or else id have to quit investing. im no better than anyone else here, and definitely not the smartest. dont make investing harder than it has to be. if you invest $100, and make $1,000. sell. pay the taxes, reinvest the gains in lower priced stocks. do it over and over and over. one of the main reasons investors never make a dime is because they hold too long in fear that 'the stock may go higher'. who cares if it goes higher. just make a profit and get out. repeat repeat repeat repeat.
