The Wishbone Greenstone Belt, comprised of a series of 95 mining claims, covers a VMS district-scale land package over the highly prospective extension of the Hackett River Greenstone belt. The belt includes Xstrata Zinc Canada's Hackett River silver-zinc project, and extends 150 km to the south. It has received minimal historical exploration work. The majority of claims on the north of the belt surrounding Hackett River were included in the transaction with Xstrata in 2011 which saw Sabina retain a significant silver royalty. Sabina also retained the south eastern portion of the property which has a number of iron formation hosted targets analogous to the geology found on Sabina's Back River Gold Project located 50km to the east.
In 2011 three new discoveries were made on the Wishbone belt. These targets are being followed up on in our ongoing 2012 exploration program.
