WHY WILL CANADA BE KEY TO MYDX?
MYDX is making a move to get ahead of US marijuana by gaining a market position in our neighbor Canada. With the signs becoming apparent Canada will beat US feds to the punch regarding legalized cannabis, smart money is opening shop up to Canadian market. This is wise for a multitude of reasons with the first reason being first. MYDX is already at the front regarding the hand held analyzer market and competing for first in database market. Setting up on the ground floor in Canada will give MYDX a competitive edge when the US turns a new leaf.
Any company that is churning out new tech knows the R&D, beta testing and applications analysis is always better with user volume. That is tricky in a market that is semi-legal in a hand full of areas. Much easier in a country where it is legal.
Finance will also be easier in a country that marijuana is legal. Venture capital will be looking to cash in on the green movement big once the legality issues are gone. Canada fiances US companies just like we finance Canadian companies.
Having a tract record when the US feds finally adopt change will be a huge benefit as well. Mexico is considering medical cannabis right now and with Canada legalizing cannabis it will put extreme pressure on the US to follow suit. Having both borders legal would make policing it here almost impossible.
