Special Counsel Robert Mueller has hired another donor to Democrats to work on the Trump-Russia investigation.
According to reports, Elizabeth Prelogar is the newest addition to the legal team. Prelogar, a lawyer in the Office of the Solicitor General, clerked for Supreme Court justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Elena Kagan.
She also reportedly donated $250 to the Clinton campaign last fall and made two donations of the same amount to the Obama campaign and Victory Fund in 2012.
She also appears to speak fluent Russian, the National Law Journal reported.
Mercedes Schlapp called out the "problematic" hirings last week after it emerged that Mueller had tapped at least three others who had given to Democrats.
Schlapp noted on "Outnumbered" that one of the attorneys, Jeannie Rhee, represented Hillary Clinton during the FBI investigation of her private email server.
On today's show, Schlapp pointed out the "consistent pattern" emerging and questioned what information these lawyers had access to in past cases.
Meghan McCain said Democrats "would be screaming bloody murder" if the roles were reversed and a Democratic president was being investigated by GOP-connected lawyers.
"It's absolute hypocrisy," she concluded.
