A Cheap Plastic that can control Light Using Electricity, is compatible with Silicon and the entire CMOS process. Introduced at a time when Electrons cannot get any closer together and in the proper single mode wavelength that can in fact make it from one end of the data center to the other. Uses much less electricity not only operate but does not generate nearly as much heat (which requires cooling) with devices much cheaper perhaps ½ the price of todays. This is similar to the contest when D.C. Electricity Could Not Be Transmited over a Long Distance because it would require a power plant in every development and A.C. became the defacto player.
