The only way to clean up the share structure was to have the insiders exercise their preferred shares. Once executed, the company could buyback those shares on the open market and then retire. This part of the reconstruction will take time. It takes up to 60 days to get the certificates from the brokerage houses to retire shares. That is not including the time it takes to negotiate with the preferred shareholders. Does the growth of the OS suck? Absolutely, but you have to understand the increase in context. Those shares have been released and are now on the open market. The company will buy those shares back.
