Quote:I just saw my credit card statement saying 'you have $4,300 in credit to spend'. after reading your posts on debt, i see for the first time that i really dont have $4,300 to SPEND. i have $4,300 of their money to get me further in debt! incredible how ive seen these words for decades yet a light went off for the first time. credit card companies goals really are to get us in debt..masked by the illusion they are here to help. yes, credit card do come in handy, but for the average american facing dire debt, i doubt any of them, including myself, would ever thank a credit card company. and yes, we all have personal choices to make.. use it or not use it..some times we have no choice. but when we have this 'free money' burning a hole in our pocket at the electronic store... its just begging to be spent on a new stereo.
