Well TY very much for answering a question for me this morning. I have often wondered if any musician other than Richie Havens played the guitar tuned to the key of E. Now I know that Jimmie Rodgers once did.

Please note both of their thumbs covering the neck of the guitar. I can't think of any other musicians who do that.
