Based on what I've read they seem to be on to a drug for Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis. They are lucky enough to be located in Australia and New Zealand where there is a "compassionate care" program, which is to say that for 8 years now they were able to allow patients to use their drug even though it's not officially approved because there is no other drug for that condition.
If you go to their site you will see that it says that 75% or so of the people using the drug under those circumstances have asked to stay on it. They released a stat
during the 2b trial saying 90% of the patients asked to stay on it after their one year usage in the trial. New info is supposed to be released within weeks and the final 2b results should be out in the August-September time frame. After that the company has stated they are looking to sell to big pharma.
They are small and are a foreign company so they seem to be flying under the radar, but the results so far can't be ignored in my mind. I've never seen anything remotely negative published about their drug, MIS416.
Go to their website and read what's there and watch the videos of the patients. The one that got me most is someone saying how they were considering euthanasia, took this drug for a time and now can drive their car giving them their life back ! Impressive.
Anyway, decide for yourself. I'm just passing it along because I've appreciated the comraderie of this board about Coates so I thought I'd share what I found and invested in.
