Miscellaneous 1. Premium prices being paid for

1. Premium prices being paid for Madagascar graphite
http://www.proactiveinvestors.com.au/companie...79383.html
A few things to note:
a. Entry into Europe. North American markets will not be the sole option for DNI.
b. 3,000 mt/yr will most likely also be sold by DNI (through wholesale/Great Lakes) in the 2018-2020 period.
c. The segments where one can sell graphite right now for profit. As I have said before, DNI is not going to go "all in" on the battery market. There's plenty of money to be made elsewhere.
2. Madagascar President says "No change to mining code"

"He said if any changes were to be made they would not apply to existing investments or projects."

"Slowdown in Madagascar #graphite supply will add to large flake pressures from Shandong closures. Expect further price increases in H2."
4. Leads 2 Business (South Africa) Vohitsara Valuation

"There are 240 Subscribers monitoring this project. Value: R 100 million+"
(~ USD 7.75 M+, before the drilling program began)
5. Article: Thou shalt obey JORC

Quote:
"failure of graphite companies to fully incorporate all aspects of the JORC Code in their exploration results reporting."
Note: This will not be a problem for the Vohitsara Project, since DW has decided to have the bulk of the lab work done in Ontario, to his specific standards which will meet or exceed NI 43-101 Code, which requires complete disclosure and more transparency than JORC.
Also, I think it is a wise move for DNI to have complete control over the cores/samples, just in case Cougar drops the ball in the upcoming months.
6. Another successful road trip
Besides spending the bulk of their time at Vohitsara, and visiting the two properties to be eventually acquired, DW et al. also revisited:
a. Societe du Port gestion Autonome de Toamasina
http://www.port-toamasina.com/
b. Bureau du Cadastre Miniere de Madagascar (BCMM)

In case you are new here:
DNI's Vohitsara graphite project has a full commercial mining permit from the BCMM, a "Permis de Exploitation" or "PE". The overwhelming majority of graphite juniors are not fully-permitted.

7. Project Timeline
Reading between the lines, by my calculations, this project is now six to eight weeks behind the original schedule. Drilling more test holes in the 'Secondary Zone' was time-consuming, but very important. Overall, the pace of the Cougar drilling crew is slow. Work continues in the 'Main Zone'.
