Approximately 1.1 million shares in the 3 days they had to cover their naked shorts. I'm doubtful that more than 100k of that was actual, real trading. Some of us used this to accumulate a few more shares, but most people seem to be just sitting tight and waiting for the July clinical trial results to be released at the conference.
I hope that the criminals re-shorted under the IPIX symbol. I want them to achieve maximum financial punishment for their actions.
By the way, all of those naked shorts who had to cover now have the pleasure of writing a check to Uncle Sam for the quarterly estimated tax, because they had to close the position and take the capital gains, instead of leaving their profits there as unrecognized gains. So some of them will have to pull money out of their trading accounts to pay the gummint.
