im personally not liking all the hype around uplisting. yes, investors should be excited about their investment, and obviously i hope uplisting works, but so much attention is on uplisting that what most people are failing to realize is that uplisting doesnt always equal 'good'. you think the requirements are tough now?
im noticing more and more on iFlub the number of newbie investors. there is nothing new or amazing about ICNB retaining an accounting/legal firm. this happens in most OTC stocks.
the thing that bothers me right now (my feelings may change) is that theyre talking about uplisting while JUST retaining an accounting/legal firm. its like running a marathon just because you bought a new pair of sneakers. if i had it my way, uplisting wouldnt happen for a year or more. they need to get a foothold in the market first.
the absolute worst thing which can happen, and ive experienced it countless times, is after an uplist, the company fails to meet the requirements and downgrades.
dont think that just because an uplist occurs, new investors are going to flock here; thats not how it works. i did sell 90% of my position and will have no problem getting back in at a higher share price; im simply trying to keep it real here. investors are doing their 'deer in headlight' thing again; focusing on one thing and expecting that one thing to make them rich.
