DENVER , May 22, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- MusclePharm Corporation (OTCBB: MSLP.OB), a nutritional supplement company focusing on active lifestyles, today announced that it has signed Major League Baseball phenom Bryce Harper as a sponsor. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Harper, a 19-year-old star outfielder for the Washington Nationals, made his professional baseball debut on April 28. He previously was the Number 1 overall pick in the 2010 baseball draft, after earning the 2010 Golden Spikes Award, which is given annually by USA Baseball to the nation's best amateur baseball player.
Harper, a former Baseball America High School Player of the Year, has been featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated. The baseball prodigy has also been proclaimed as a future superstar in the sport.
