Mean and median volume for the last month are righ

They will try to feed the short covering in gradually now over the next 3 days, so that it isn't an obvious huge volume day. Yet when you see days of 62,000 and 84,000 shares traded -- and that 10 of the 22 trading days in the last month had volume of less than 218,000 shares -- it makes you think that the real volume excluding those wash trades has really been way less than the 400+k we saw yesterday.
For instance, 2 days ago we saw 70k shares "traded" at the open, and then in the afternoon, a 50k trade immediately followed by a 20k trade -- surprise, 70k shares. Exclude those 140,000 shares "traded" and for that day, the volume would be less than 200k. And that doesn't even count the other paired trades we see, where there's a trade of a certain volume and then another "trade" for the same number of shares at the same price (or within thousandths or ten-thousanths (!) of a cent), which makes it look like there is volume but in reality it's just market maker games to paint a picture of higher volume than the reality.
