The Glendale Galleria is a great location. As I've written previously, I used to live about five minutes away from that mall. Traffic in that area isn't too bad in the context of horrible L.A. traffic. It's near an east-west freeway for easy access from both sides of town.
Parking was never that bad when I went, but I usually went at off peak hours. Plus, the city itself is far enough away from the less desirable areas of L.A. Glendale is not Beverly Hills, but it is upper middle income for that area so I see it's a great match demographically. It's just down the road from Pasadena, San Marino, Arcadia, etc.
There's also a mall located next to the famous Santa Anita racetrack in Arcadia, east of Glendale. I wonder if that's too close to the Glendale location to support another GIGL there. Or maybe more east towards Rancho Cucamonga where there is a lot of new development.
