Now that 4K tv's and other devices are becoming more and more prevalent in people's lives, I have little doubt Redbox will go the way of the Blockbuster. People tend to gravitate to the path of least resistance. So schlepping their lazy asses in the rain, snow or whatever to a kiosk to rent a physical disc only to have to repeat the process to return it will become an inconvenience when they can get the same thing by simply turning on their tv or device with a simple button click. Not to mention getting the best video experience possible with UltraFlix. But to your point, if Redbox can generate massive profits peddling physical disc rentals out of 40,000 physical locations for little more than a buck NTEK should be able to do the same and more cost effectively. Even Redbox is looking for a digital solution as the novelty of the kiosk thing is no doubt short lived.
All we're waiting on now is content. We've successfully jumped many hurdles to get here, skinning our knee a time or two along the way but finally, the infrastructure is ready, financing is in place, end users are ready, the time is right, we just need NTEK to deliver the A-list content in quantity and we're good to go.
