In the case of CTIX, we have 3 different drugs in multiple clinical trials for different applications. Every one of the clinical trials has been successful so far, and what we know about the ones now in progress is very promising.
Yet, we are priced like a pre-clinical company. Why?
Because there has been a concerted effort by a cabal to try to keep the stock price down.
We have various theories as to why:
A group picks small companies to run into bankruptcy, so that they can profit from shorting, and erred this time in picking one with great prospects;
A gang targets a company to try to bankrupt it so they can get the intellectual property cheaply;
A gang targets a company to try to force them into a bad partnership deal;
and other theories.
We know that they operate both with shorting (legal shorting, and illegal naked shorting) and phony trades with the cooperation of a market maker or makers (remember the time they walked the share price down on 10-share "trades"?); we know that they
• use media like Seeking Alpha to publish defamatory articles;
• get ambulance-chasing law firms involved to try to greenmail the target company, and scare shareholders (see: suspicious timing of Rosen Firm "lawsuit" as per the judge's decision dismissing the case);
• and we KNOW that they hire paid bashers, who either bash the stock outright, or appear in chat rooms claiming to be bulls but trying to sow fear, uncertainty and doubt, and trying to focus the attention of the chat room on themselves instead of the stock. This happens particularly at times when there is news anticipated, for instance a conference call coming up.
