SM Energy +8% after raising production guidance
SM Energy (SM +8.1%) surges after raising its Q2 production guidance by 400K boe, citing the acceleration of completion activity at its core Eagle Ford program.
SM hikes its Q2 production guidance o 10.7M-11.1M boe and 43.2M-46.2M boe for FY 2017, and says the results should boost cash flow and capital cost savings.
SM says it has completed 31 wells in the Eagle Ford program YTD and plans to complete 39 wells for the full year.
