I like how Dobbs thinks it's a magnificent achievement that Trump got Neil Gorsuch confirmed to the Supreme Court on his 81st day, "the first justice to take his seat on the High Court in the President's first 100 days since 1881!"

Evidently, the doddering Dobbs is unaware that Presidents do not nominate a Supreme Court justice whenever they feel like it--They only get to do it when there's a vacant seat. And that the reason that this particular seat was open was that the Republican senators had refused to even hold a hearing on Obama's nominee for the better part of a year.
