Remember a few years back Mike Paniccia of Intel made a comment about single mode/multi mode, when I heard that I said “important”, Houston the market is moving to Single mode. Thinking about this years meeting and Lebby’s comment on how the 50gig will require an antennae brought me back to a comment made several years ago by Leonberger at another shareholder meeting that went something like this “and then we’ll borrow a little technology from the cellular industry” (honestly at the time I could not for the life of me understand what he was saying, now I get it). Remember Lebby scratching his chin “how will they solve the face plate issue?”. Just as I got vibes on that single mode vs. multi mode comment I’ll throw down 2 more game changers here to watch, because I think they are in play.

The fiber entering the device could be a unique patent-able device issue here and the antenna receiving/converting/transferring converted with the goo 50Gig (super fast) to single mode, yup. It will take a while but let’s watch this play out. I’ll be wrong until I’m right, funny how that works.
