Yes, I think B-OM will be the first choice for anyone undergoing radiation and insurance companies will be happy to pay for it. The reason the trial only accepts head and neck cancer patients is because they are most likely to develop OM.
As for chemo, if the drug's side effect includes OM, doctors will definitely prescribe B-OM first. It's quite commom so chemo-induced OM could be more than the 500K radiation-induced OM. Plus it's rinse and spit at home, who hard can it be?
I expect the next interim update to be as impressive as the first one (> 50% in prevention). Hopefully it'll include the first 30 patients.
