The decision to pause the ABSSSI Phase 3 trial was straight-up smart. Approx $30M for a Phase 3, when instead for the same cost you can both start and complete four phase 2 trials in indications that arguably in the big pharma dealmaking zone deliver far bigger values that ABSSSI. Folks shouldn't forget though that the successful completion of the absssi 2b is further corroboration that Brilacidin is potentially a wonder drug.
Brilacidin breakdown:
-ABSSSI: phase 2b successfully completed. Bettered multi-billion dollar dapto head-to-head.
-OM: ongoing phase 2, posted jaw-dropping interim results showing that the drug is a safe and extremely effective preventative.
-IBD- ongoing phase 2, posted remarkable interim results with a super crude enema showing that the drug works and works really really well better than drugs that have done mega deals lately.
What doesn't Brilacidin do?
CTIX believes it can work extremely well for acne and eczema--and I'm not doubting that one bit.
Pruriosl?
Post results better or equal to Otezla and you have a 777 winner.
Kevetrin?
in a phase 2 for ovarian cancer and successfully completed phase 1 trial at one of the world's best cancer centers--dana farber--showed remarkable results in stage 4 patients.
Sometimes I start shaking with the potential of what this company has in its pipeline.
are you kidding me? $1/share, $125M valuation. four phase 2 trials delivering their topline results for 3 diversified drugs in 2017.
I honestly feel sad for people who can't figure this out. I honestly (no joke) feel sad for people who are afraid to buy at this level. i honestly feel sad for people sitting at home deciding where to park some money and deciding between CTIX and maybe some weird trendy company that they got a tip on from someone. Look at all the FDA designations CTIX has. Look at diversification of drugs! look at the fact the share price was $5 a 2 years ago before some criminals stepped in and launched a mafia style attack against the company writing pure fiction
