The longs are expecting the same too we just need clarification on the definition for very near. Myself, I think very near is 90 days, Near 6 months-9 months. Although I would love to see something big in 90 days, realistically 6 months-9 months is a more likely the target if we are taking the FAA route to cert..... Unless.... we get some surprise news of an acquisition, that's the very near news I expect to hear. Being good a reading body language (I don't think you even have to be good a reading body language in this case), I felt Cheryl was holding back at the SHM, and had some real news she wanted to share but was prevented from by the NDA. She could hardly contain herself. While the meeting was great, or "historic", in terms of rebranding, it was really only a coming out party for a new brand. There was unfortunately nothing groundbreaking that occurred or expected. Which is why the stock dropped back down to where it is. I cant think of a single thing we hadn't figured out in our DD on this board prior to the meeting. Except for one very important thing, one worth having a big meeting like we had and that was in my opinion to announce a LOA for an acquisition for our 121 cert. Other than that there was noting groundbreaking there. It was a terrific display of a finely tuned team who all appeared to be on the same page. But Cheryl...she looked like the cat that ate the canary. She almost had to cover her own mouth as she spoke. I think the setback was financials were not audited yet preventing an LOA etc. The meeting went on as planned but they were not ready to uncork the real news. I feel that the SHM was set for some groundbreaking announcements but the magnitude of what needed to be accomplished prior to the meeting just wasn't in place in time. So for me, back to peeking in on this board, and random checks of the TD account waiting to see what I believe we will see, and I think if I'm right in the next 90 days (by the end of August, early September) we should see in this order...give or take: 1. Audited financials. 2. New ticker symbol. 3. Official Name change 4.LOA for airline acquisition with 121 cert. 5.......... I also hypothesize that is perhaps the 5th man in the photo LT pointed out with the hand on Tony's shoulder, that individual likely has ownership of, or something to do with the 121 acquisition we are attempting to make. Bottom line is as I have said right along....BLTA is good at any price, opportunity knocks for those with the resources and stomach for it. Still holding strong and Still going to pick up more shares next week myself. Very excited about the very near future. Good luck everyone.!!! Go US Global Airways!

U.S. Single-Family Homebuilding Hits Eight-Month Low in June
June's U.S. single-family housebuilding dropped to its lowest level in eight months. The main cause of this fall was rising mortgage rates. The decline implies that in the second quarter the housing market slowed down economic progress. Starting at 980,000 units, the Commerce Department noted a 2.2% drop in single-family house starts. Since October of last year, this is the lowest level. Data for May was changed to reflect a hig... Continue Reading
UK Inflation Holds Steady at 2% in June

As it decides whether to change interest rates in the next weeks, the Bank of England (BoE) is under increasing criticism now. The constant inflation rate suggests ongoing economic difficulties even with past policies meant to lower it. Particularly with reference to possible interest rate cuts, i... Continue Reading

Decline in Second-Quarter Earnings for Top U.S. Steelmakers
Bracing for a drop in second-quarter earnings are top U.S. steelmakers. Lower profitability is expected by analysts for Nucor, Steel Dynamics, and U.S. Steel. The major decline in steel prices helps to explain this trend. A supply excess has driven the price fall. Demand has been lapped by domestic manufacture and imports. Distributors have been slow to buy additional supplies. They would rather keep inventory levels as-is. Steelmake... Continue Reading
June Retail Sales Remain Steady Amid Economic Resilience
U.S. retail sales stayed the same in June, proving consumer resilience and bolstering second quarter prospects for economic growth.
