There are certainly some people buying up cheap and maybe lowering their cost average.
I would add that clearing transactions are now a huge focus in regulatory agencies ect more now than ever before. Litigation has been picking up and it's exposing short falls in the system for sure. This looks like a broker(s), a series of dirty loan financers, and group of people tried to out smart a clearing firm and the DTC and got caught with thier hands in the cookie jar. This is certainly not about getting 4 million dollars back. This is about personal property (shareholder), liability, and who broke the law!
I think that is obvious now.
