Like you said, at this point I'm guessing we're just trying to garner interest in the delivery concept, and what we have to offer in the area of post processing quality.
It would have been cool if we could have taken some of the movies up for awards and put them thru our post editing process. That would have been impressive.
After reading the article, they were resistant to even have Netflix making an appearance. Seems like they are almost considered the McDonalds of the movie industry.
We are going to have a difficult journey overcoming the traditional models currently being used in the movie industry, but in time it will catch on.
Cannes may be "cutting edge" conceptually in regards to what makes a good movie, but may be very traditional on the technical aspects of delivery and such.
